Mobile Barbershop Glasgow (MG Barbers). This notice explains what we collect when you book, ask for a quote or use the chat on this site.

What we collect

Your name, UK mobile number, optional email address, street address and postcode, the service you want and the time. If you use the chat, your messages are sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to produce replies; we do not use them for anything else.

Why

To turn up at the right place and time, to contact you about your appointment or quote, and to keep the diary free of double bookings. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request to provide the service.

Who sees it

Only the barber. Our hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase) and email (Resend) providers process it on our behalf. Nobody else can see your booking; the public diary only shows which times are free.

How long we keep it

Bookings and quote requests are deleted 12 months after the appointment or request. The activity log stores IP addresses only as one-way hashes.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, or cancel a booking with the link in your confirmation. Under UK GDPR you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. The TikTok player only loads if you press the button to load it, and TikTok's own privacy policy then applies.
